jailed in a reused
margarine container;
observed behind
one way glass

       it’s time to break free
       it’s time to break free

“look out world,
you’re not ready for me yet.”

i baited myself
hook, line and sink her
                           strung out;
wired on the new herbal craze.

the world only comes
in black, white and gray
when you’re living in a daze

        it’s time to break free
        it’s time to break free

conversed fate
into the same mind-set,
- even though
being paraplegic
didn’t sound half bad.

and god schlepped home
                           disappointed;
                  and empty-handed.

        it’s time to break free
        it’s time to break free

but instead i drowned
in the bottomless, blue sea.

independence said,
i didn’t make the team.

My father used to say, "I trust you, but not your descisions."
He doesn't speak to me anymore.

I went off on a limb with this one, but I'm actually a little proud of it. I hope you enjoy it. Some hardcore critique would be nice, since I don't know what I was doing really. If it doesn't make sense let me know, kkay? <3 (Think of teenagers and worms.. lol. >.<;)
